Dan Pierce is the Owner of Full Throttle Fitness and has been a fitness industry specialist for 10 years, working with hundreds of people with different goals and abilities. After working in the professional Motocross industry for 3 years exclusively training with racing superstar and World Champion “Iron” Mike LaRocco, Dan relocated to El Dorado Hills. Since partnering with Vance Mueller of Mueller’s Elite Training Academy in 2008, Full Throttle Fitness has now grown to a 14,000 square foot gym and athletic training facility.
Dan’s athletic achievements included being drafted in the 1996 Major League amateur baseball draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, and being a member of the 1999 Men’s NCAA Division 2 National Championship team at California State University Chico.
Vance Mueller, Owner

He was a collegiate All-American 8 times and a 2-time national champion in the long-jump and 4 x 100 relay. After graduating in 1986, Vance became a 4th round draft pick of the Los Angeles Raiders and had a rewarding career as a special team player and third down back. After a serious knee injury, Vance officially retired from pro-football in 1993 and began his new career in fitness, opening his first health club in 1994. Vance has since partnered in several health club ventures locally and out of state. Along the way Vance has earned several fitness training certificates including a Master Sport Trainer (MST) from the National Institute of Sports, as well as being certified in yoga, lifestyle and weight management, golf fitness, and Swiss Ball stability.
Vance’s wide ranging knowledge has allowed him to work with people and athletes from all walks of life and fitness back-rounds, ranging from first time exercisers to professional athletes. Vance’s latest facility, Mueller’s Elite, is a culmination of life experience, a life-long passion for fitness and coaching, and the appreciation of the opportunity to work intimately with people of all ages to help them achieve their personal goals.
Lissa Mueller, Owner

Since establishing Mueller Fitness with her husband Vance in 1994, Lissa has become an accomplished fitness instructor, teacher and coach. Lissa, now at Mueller’s Elite Training has worked with hundreds of people and has earned specialized fitness degrees in several aspects of personal training including Pilates, N.I.A., Spin, Group X and Fit-Boxing. Lissa is a P.E. teacher at St. Johns in Folsom where she also served as the Head Track Coach. Lissa currently is coaching track at Oak Ridge High School and coaches the hurdlers, sprinters, and relay teams. Lissa was an All-American hurdler during her college days at Occidental College and still holds the school record for the women’s 100m hurdle.

Liz Ann has been involved in the field of Personal Training for 8 years and most recently was a trainer at El Dorado Hills Sports Club. Liz Ann prides herself on providing superior motivation, excellent individual attention and creative fitness routines which have resulted in consistent client satisfaction. Jamie Ellsworth, CPT, NASM
Jamie began working in childcare at Mueller Fitness in El Dorado Hills in 1995. At the time Jamie weighed 187 lbs. and had never worked out a day in her life. Tired of battling a weight issue since childhood and wanting to set a good example for her children, she decided it was time for a lifestyle change.
The fitness journey began with some hesitation and fear of the unknown, but she figured everyone has to start somewhere. With support from the Muellers and her co-workers Jamie was able to drop 40 lbs. in 9 months with a healthy fitness routine and diet modification (no more Dr. Pepper and Snickers for breakfast). In 1998, Jamie became Group Fitness certified and began teaching Step and Body Sculpting classes. Over the years she has continued to teach Step & Sculpt but has added Indoor Cycle, Core and Balance, Cardio Kickboxing and her new favorites, Flirty Girl’s Booty Beat, Heavy Bag Cardio Boxing, Kettlebell, Med ball, Stability Ball & Boot Camp to her fitness endeavors. Her passion and success with her own fitness journey has inspired and encouraged many individuals.
Currently Jamie is a NASM & ACE certified personal trainer, teaching Boot Camp classes, training small groups and 1-on-1 clients. Whether you are new to fitness or comfortable in a workout environment Jamie will provide the program to challenge, educate and motivate you on your fitness journey.

Sharon Thompson, CPT
Sharon’s passion for fitness training stems from her own journey toward wellness. She has personal experience with weight-management and recovery & rehab from severe injury. These experiences have taught her the importance of integrating fitness, nutrition and behavioral changes to achieve success. They also give her a unique connection with my clients. Sharon challenges and empowers her clients to define and reach personal goals.
She emphasizes strength training modalities that can be transferred from the gym to daily life. Her intense and effective technique incorporates the best of weight training, kickboxing, plyometrics, and yoga to achieve optimal results. She is also proficient in core training, endurance training, muscle growth, fat reduction and sport specific training.

A consummate athlete, Anthony Adedipe has utilized his experience from sports and fitness to create highly effective customized training for his clients. For over 10 years, Anthony has been training clients in a wide range of fitness levels - from beginners to elite athletes. With a combination of core strengthening and stability, plyometrics, sports conditioning, nutrition guidance and customized workouts, Anthony has been helping clients not only get in shape but to stay in shape as well.
Anthony is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, EMT certified, Dot Fit Certified and an Adventure Boot Camp Instructor and licensee. Trisha has been a personal trainer for three years. She graduated from a private fitness institute, Bryan College in 2008 and has been training ever since. Furthermore, Trisha decided to continue her education at the University of Phoenix where she recently received her B.S. in Business Management. Her goal is to one day own a Pilates Studio. In the fall of 2011, Trisha will be attending Balance Body University to receive her Pilates certification.
