My son Tristan and I enjoy our workouts at Full Throttle Fitness & Mueller’s Elite. I’ve been participating in the boot camp sessions and Tristan has been involved with the Sport Performance Training for over a year. We both appreciate the encouragement we receive from the trainers and staff. The results we see are measurable; the positive role modeling Dan and Vance offer the kids every day is invaluable. It’s such a great fit for us and as a mother, I am especially proud of the fact that I have fitness in common with my teenage son!
When I first started just over a year ago, I couldn’t make it around the track without stopping to catch my breath. I could barely make it through 15 reps with my 3lb weights! In March 2009, I completed my first half marathon without stopping! In fact, the half marathon was much easier than running with the eight pound medicine ball Dan makes us carry during his workouts!

As a multi-sport high school athlete, I continuously look for ways to improve myself and stay ahead of the competition. Since beginning my regimen at Full Throttle Fitness & Mueller’s Elite, I have reached my desired weight and continue to improve my speed, agility and strength goals. The trainers are great at mixing up the workouts, providing a challenge and pushing me to be the best I can be on and off the field.

My name is Jourdan Hitchings and I play competitive softball. I have been working at Mueller's for about a year and it has helped me tremendously. One thing that improved was my speed. I dropped my home to first time down by .2 seconds I went from running a 2.8 to a 2.6. I have not only gotten faster but stronger as well. I have more power in both my swing and my throws. Mueller's has helped me to become a stronger faster and all around better softball player. With Mueller's help I now play for one of the top softball teams in the nation, the Sorcerers. And now I am looking to play division I softball in college.

I am on the Varsity Lady Bruins basketball team for Ponderosa. I made the Varsity team as a freshman and averaged 14 points per game. I've been training with Dan since April of 2008. I have really benefited from working out with Dan, i have become so much faster and stronger. Dan is an excellent trainer and i really enjoy training with him. Dan really made a difference in my performance on the court.

The majority of my life I have been active and have invested in some form of weight and cardio training. However, a while back, I was sidelined with a shoulder injury and unable to train at the same level for over a year, gaining considerable weight. I lost motivation and took huge steps backwards in my health. After surgery and as part of my shoulder rehabilitation, I decided to make a change with my training.
I joined Mueller’s Fitness about two years ago, and was introduced to a new type of training program. I began with basic band workouts and graduated to Mueller’s total body “Cross Fit” Program. While I have never been intrigued by a group training format & have always been self motivated exerciser, I really began to warm up to the “boot camp” format. I started participating a couple of times a week with group sessions run by Dan Pierce who is the owner of Full Throttle Fitness. The energy and motivation from other members in the sessions has really helped me in my progress. To date since joining Mueller’s Elite/Full Throttle Fitness I have lost close to 40 lbs, more than four waist sizes and am in the best shape of my adult life. I continue to improve on a daily basis and find myself looking forward to my workouts each day. In addition, the staff has assisted me in a meal/diet plan which has really helped!
There is something to be said for spending an hour each day with quality physical training instruction with a staff of motivated, positive individuals. Thanks Vance and Dan!

I’ve been working out more or less for close to 30 years, and was starting to realize that I was stuck in a rut with little enthusiasm in my workout routines. My wife convinced me to try one of Dan’s Full Throttle Fitness Boot Camp classes, and I will admit I was skeptical. In other words, I thought I was above that kind of activity!
After one session, I was convinced! Probably the best hour I had spent in the gym in a long time. Cardio, core, and weights all combined. Dan keeps it interesting, and always varies the pace and content of each day’s workout. I don’t believe I’ve ever done the same workout more than once. I’m now probably in the best overall shape that I’ve been in my life.
In addition to training my entire family, I had him work with the Camerado Springs 8th grade girls basketball team that I was helping coach. He works great with all ages, shapes, and sizes!

I began training with Dan Pierce in May 2008. I had decided that I needed something to supplement my running routine, which had become stale. Dan's program was just what I needed. Within three months (going three times a week) I noticed that my running was stronger and more efficient. I was able to take minutes off my timed routes and had more power going up hills.
Before training with Dan, I hadn't paid much attention to my upper-body or core strength. After a few months of regular attendance I had noticeably increased my upper-body strength (able to do standard push-ups) and toned my arms. Improving my core strength had a direct effect on my running performance and led me to set a new goal for myself: to complete a half-marathon.
Dan guided and monitored my training, giving advice ranging from nutrition to stretching to mileage. In March of 2009, I ran the Shamrock'n Half Marathon in downtown Sacramento. Not only did I complete the race 17 minutes faster than my set goal, I felt strong the entire race and wasn't sore in the days that followed. I enjoy Dan's program because he changes it up and challenges me beyond what I would do on my own. He is focused on providing intense, strenuous workouts geared towards results and helping his clients achieve their goals. He has helped me achieve mine and I look forward to future events.
